CROPs medical training

Lazarus Training
Medical training for CROPs officers delivered in real life settings.

CROPs medical training must be specific, not just a rehash of first aid at work. Staff working in a CROP role face the most demanding of circumstances, where everything, particularly nature, seems to be against you.

In event of a casualty this only gets worse, ditches get deeper, fences higher, tracks longer etc. To confidently apply medical skills in a situation during a CROPs deployment requires a fine mix of planning, equipment and rehearsal of medical procedures.

Our training is focused on both the type of medical events you may face, but also the circumstances in which you will face them. Working in the extremes of temperature, the dark and with limited resources requires a simple, but confident approach. Lazarus Training’s courses provide this. For example on our CROPs police officer medical training your delegates can expect to conduct scenarios in the dark, with minimal equipment.

Where appropriate, our training includes D13 enhanced or D13 standard level first aid requirements or similar underpinning qualifications. For those working internationally our MACE range of courses provide a good base, or our new Kinetic Areas Trauma Training [KATT] might be the best option if your travel take to the most challenging areas!

The training is highly practical and is focused on making you confident- not listening to the trainer’s “war stories”. For more detail on the framework of qualifications, visit the AFO enhanced level, AFO standard level and MACE pages of this website.
