Working within the briefing from the client, Lazarus Training was able to deploy to provide hostile environments awareness training in Asia within a couple of weeks of the training request hitting our office. The end result was that we deployed members of our team to Malaysia at short notice to deliver a combined personal safety and first aid course for people expecting to work in hostile environments.
The training course was planned and delivered in under two weeks turnaround. The training was delivered in English to a multinational audience with our training team bringing all necessary resources for the training, allowing for it to be delivered quickly and at the client’s convenience and at their venue, reducing costs.
Whilst the reaction time for this course was quick, that doesn’t mean that any of Lazarus Training’s trademark attention to planning was missed, with a fully planned scheme of work and associated materials being available to the client before we left the UK.
Topics covered included: dealing with aggression; working in crowds; vehicle safety; dealing with vehicle checkpoints; ballistics awareness; emergency first aid including catastrophic bleeding; personal resilience and planning.
As always the training was adapted to reflect a number of factors: the entry level knowledge and experience of the participants; the concerns of the participants; local developments and recent events in the region.
In this case, the workshop was delivered as part of a wider training session which required us to ensure a smooth “hand over” of the participants to the second training provider, who was running different training.
